And I am okay with that! I went to the open house at Cogswell on the 24th and got my portfolio reviewed by the head animation teacher himself. He was extremely nice and gave me a few pointers. Draw the feet ( in my sketch book I had some doodles for a coat and I hadn't drawn the feet, so shame on me lol ), draw in shapes, and make the characters silhouette interesting. My portfolio got approved, which wasn't very surprising seeing as it had approved almost two year ago, so, that's that.

I didn't have to drive down to Sunnyvale which was nice, but I did have to drive back through San Fran. First time I personally drove over the Golden Gate. I hate people in SF, they drive like crazy people, holy shit. I also stopped by to see my grandmother in Palo Alto, smelled like art supplies in her house, it was great. She showed me a new drawing she was doing for her sister, in was in water colour and was very pretty, and she also showed me a book with the art of the guy who wrote Where The Wild Things Are, and she said she didn't like his work very much mainly because it was very "angstful" and his art was sad. I never liked his worked myself, but it's funny both me and my grandmother don't really like his work. She also showed my a bunch of new paintings which were fucking awesome as usual.

It was really nice in Sunnyvale, very much like Santa Rosa, I don't think I'll mind living in the heart of Silicon Valley ( They're right next to Yahoo )

So, can't wait to learn, probably going next Fall in 2010, so, one more semester at the JC, blah.
